Instructor position I live in England, and am currently a BGA basic gliding instructor. I have been gliding since 1964, and have been air experience flying / instructing for more than 20 years. I would like to do the same in New Zealand, preferably in the North Island, as I have relatives there. I don't want to emigrate at this stage, so I think perhaps a seasonal job as an instructor which would pay just enough for my airfare, so I could spend 6 months in New Zealand and 6 months in England would suit me fine. I would be available next year. Do you know of any clubs which would take me on? I was in New Zealand 4 years ago, where I flew solo (after a check) at both Lake Taupo and Jury Hill gliding clubs. At Jury Hill, I was asked whether I would consider coming back to instruct when I retired. I will be retiring early next year. I have emailed the club, but got no reply. Can you help?
