Welcome to Wellington Gliding Club
We are one of the most active clubs in New Zealand, flying from both Paraparaumu and Masterton. We have diverse range of flying conditions, thermals, ridge soaring, pressure and lee wave lift, which enables our club to operate seven days a week during the summer months.
If you are looking for a new challenge, gliding provides exhilaration and pleasure. From the high mental demands of soaring in close to the mountains to the fantastic views and speed of being in a wave thousands of feet above ground.
