The Final Thermal Les Reisterer -Update

Les Reisterer of the Piako Club died peacefully last night in Hospital. Les suffered a stroke 24 hours previously. No information on arrangements is known at the moment.

Les was a great Competition supporter. When he didnt feel he could continue to compete, he took on the role of Grid Marshal. Putting out the Grid markers each morning and guiding the volunteers to get the fleet launched. I am sure he will be sadly missed by friends and especially members of the Piako Club.

Update- Tthe funeral for Les will take place at the Matamata Soaring Centre at 11am on Tuesday 6th Dec followed by interment at the Matamata Cemetery.
